A celebration of the opening of Frofully Connected, a new mural by artist Rell Rushin created in collaboration with FroGang Foundation Inc.
Rumbón de la Calle is an ensemble of Pittsburgh-based world renowned percussionists and drummers of the African diaspora emulating the community gatherings of their respective countries. Performances are on the last Sunday of each month, July – September 2023.
For this session, attendees will visit the final artwork at the Fern Hollow Bridge and hear from the artist and project team members about the implementation process.
Technique Architectural Products served as the artist’s collaborator for the fabrication of the stencils used to create Peña’s final artwork, and they have worked closely with artists across the Pittsburgh region to bring their projects into implementation.
