About the Artist
I like to work at the edges: between art and architecture, between theory and utility, between the speculative and the material. My studio’s work is based on the belief that playful investigation strengthens intuition, conceptual thinking sharpens practical design, and beauty gains depth when it’s grounded in context. I approach every project as a living system — as inquiry, infrastructure, and as an act of care.
In 2025, I founded L Boffi Studios, a multi-disciplinary art and design studio based in Pittsburgh, PA. The studio playfully investigates a practice model that spans design disciplines.
I am a licensed architect, an NCARB certificate holder, and Special Faculty at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Architecture, where I teach Graduate and Undergraduate design studios. I love to create commissioned artworks and talk through design concepts. I am a proud member of the American Society of Botanical Artists.
