About the Artist

KinsellandKinselland is a collaborative container for the creative practices of husband and wife team vocalist ANQWENIQUE and visual artist DS Kinsel. The couple work together on event production, program design, creative education programs, consulting, and more. Kinselland Radio is a vinyl-driven sonic experience inspired by African American Art in the 20th Century.

There Are Black People In The Future Artwork-in-Residence

Eleven artists and educators explore the meaning and relevance of artist Alisha B. Wormsley’s text, “There Are Black People In The Future,” across media and disciplines.

“Our collaborative work explores intimate themes like love, friendship, and shared existence, consistently weaving collaboration into our roles as cultural producers. Together, we offer a fresh perspective on what togetherness is and how we achieve it with each other and ourselves.”
