About the Artist
Ignacio Lopez’s art is inspired by alchemical diagrams and the Japanese concept of Ma (the gap/space between objects), with these concepts he explores shape and color to find resonating compositions. He took on this exploration after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh Studio Arts program in 2016 and further while stuck at home in covid. In 2022 he formed Alchemic Print, a screen print studio focusing on prints for décor and art lovers. He is also a member of The Associated Artist of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Print Group, and has shown in various shows around Pittsburgh.
