About the Artist
Celeste Neuhaus (she/they) is a multimodal artist and witch who makes devotional offerings through painting, collage, sculpture, installation, performance, video and guided interactive ritual.
Revealing the interdependencies between the somatic, psychological, ecological, and cosmological, her work invites healing and incites transformation.
Celeste is currently the 2026 Artist In Residence at the Center for PostNatural History. She completed a post graduate advanced training certification in Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. They earned their BFA at the University of Illinois at Chicago and their MFA at the University of New Mexico where they were a selected artist in the Land Arts program in Art and Ecology. She has been an invited visiting artist at Eastern Carolina University (Greenville, NC) and Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University (Indianapolis, IN), and has been an artist-in-residence at ACRE (Steuben, WI), Harold Arts Residency (Chesterhill, OH), Gateway to the Arts, (Hookstown, PA), and The Studio for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA).
The Nevada Museum of Art and the University of Illinois Chicago have collected her work. Local and national exhibitions include: the Carnegie Museum of Art, The Mattress Factory, and SPACE Gallery (Pittsburgh, PA), White Page Gallery (Minneapolis, MN), Indiana University (Indianapolis, IN), Sanitary Tortilla Factory (Albuquerque, NM), Comfort Station (Chicago, IL), School of Visual Art (New York, NY), and P.A.A.J. (Los Angeles, CA). She is the originator of Conjure Creativity, a service that provides targeted healing sessions empowering clients to align with the cycles of their unique creativity.
