About the Artist
Isaac Beachy has been making stained glass since 2003. From the Shenandoah Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Isaac spent the last decade working for various Pittsburgh stained glass studios and training under some of its most notable teachers. In 2020 he created Isaac’s Glass Company to work closely with clients to create personal custom stained glass for their homes, businesses, and more. He is an expert in flushing out a vision in collaboration with clients. From creating transom windows featuring the client’s favorite video game characters to making a window to inspire hope for a crisis center, Isaac’s versatility, attention to detail, and his ability to listen make his projects succeed. While he is happy to bring a client’s developed vision to life, he excels in taking the vaguest of ideas and working with an individual or group to develop it into full production. As an active member, Isaac supports and is supported by the Pittsburgh Glass Center, American Glass Guild, the Stained Glass Association of America, and the robust community of glass artists in Pittsburgh. Isaac is available for commissions, full restorations, or repair work as well. He has experience teaching stained glass to people ages 5 – 80.
