The Laboratory of Donated Dreams, 2019. An immersive arts program for a conference on the future of work in Barcelona where guests could undergo a 20-minute process to donate their dreams.
Futurofono, 2021. A speculative futures lab for an innovation program in the Baltics.
Future Headteachers, 2020. A workshop with students at the Holbæk Art School in Denmark where they were asked to time travel to 2057 when they receive an alluring phone call from their headteacher asking them if they’d come back to co-headteach the school as an experimental collective.
Assemble Pittsburgh, 2023. Led a time travel program that explores what is behind us, in that space where futures are not obviously ahead of us.
GROUND, 2023. An AI-augmented immersive process played city-wide in Toronto, Canada. Created in collaboration with UKAI and funded by Canada Council for the Arts in partnership with Goethe-Institut Toronto.
About the Artist
The Time Travel Agency operates under the cover of a speculative design and innovation studio in the Nordics, the Americas, and online. Our studio is a response to hopelessness about the future. We aim to reach futures in which people possess agency and feel happy to be alive. For organizations that need to survive, we help them to adapt.
We challenge a lack of optimistic futures, of vision, of other worlds. Then, we make those worlds to feel what it’s like to affect them. (And work from the assumption that we are going to make it).
Founded in 2019, The Time Travel Agency operates with a team of agents around the world. We are a woman-owned, minority-owned small enterprise.
