SUMMARY:Public Art and Communities Program Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a complimentary buffet dinner\, mingle with fellow community members\, and hear from the artists and community partners who collaborated to create works of temporary public art that responded to community identified needs. \nShiftworks Community + Public Arts and Neighborhood Allies\, along with the Borough of Millvale invite you to join us at Brew House Arts to celebrate the culmination of the Public Art and Communities program. \nKids welcome! Activities will be provided by Assemble. \nAbout the Public Art and Communities Program\nThe Public Art and Communities Program supports artists and communities in working together. From 2021 – 2023\, four artists worked in collaboration with community-based partners to develop and implement four works of temporary public art in Pittsburgh communities.
