DESCRIPTION:Tess Dally is a Pittsburgh-based physically integrated dancer who gracefully moves with and without her wheelchair. Her profound work draws inspiration from her lived experience with disability justice\, advocating for marginalized communities\, including BIPOC\, LGBTQIA+\, mental illness\, elders\, and those affected by violence and poverty. \nWith a background spanning thirty years in clinical social work\, Dally combines her advocacy skills with the healing power of dance\, movement\, community\, and intersectional justice. As a member of Attack Theatre and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council’s Disabled Artist Creative Cohort\, Dally is dedicated to collaborative efforts focusing on intersectionality and art. \nJoin Tess as she shares insights from her site-based performances in Alaska\, California\, and Pennsylvania\, often held outdoors due to the limitations of traditional studios.
