About
The Public Art Program of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture invites submissions from professional artists to design, fabricate and install an outdoor public mural/wall sculpture. The goal is to enhance the community’s identity and experience at the library. A mural and/or 3D wall art should convey hope to this urban, underserved area and/or speak of our multicultural communities or the love residents have for the learning opportunities this library brings to their families. The artwork should complement the contemporary library building that is entirely and sustainably powered by its roof solar panels.
